Keane to play London's 02 Arena

Keane to play London's 02 Arena

Story by Jack Foley

BRIT award-winning piano-rockers Keane are to play a special one off London show in the arena at The O2 on July 21, 2007.

An 18-month world tour following their debut album and the recent tour supporting their chart topping second album, Under The Iron Sea, has sharpened Keane’s live show into an anthem filled tour-de-force – so much so that the show will be filmed for a future DVD release.

Tickets cost £25 and will be available to book at http://www.theo2.co.uk/web/guest/home from 9am on Thursday, May 3.

Commenting on the date, Keane’s Tom Chaplin said: “We’re on such a roll playing live that we’ve decided to do some more shows over the summer.

“The crowds were very up for it on the arena tour we just finished, singing along to every song – so we’ve decided to revel in the glory by putting on some of our own headline shows as well as picking out a couple of brilliant festivals.”
